Herbs Wolf River Raft Rides

(715) 882-8612

Herb's rafts, available at the Inn, provide the best services, rates, advice and equipment available to run the best white water sections of the Wolf River.  The Wolf River is preserved in a wild state of nature and undeveloped shorelines enable rafters to enjoy a wilderness experience in just a day.  Whitewater rafting is a do-it-yourself challenge which requires good health, stamina and judgment. The river is high and cold in spring and demands sober respect and wet suits.

Summer rafting is less demanding and swim suits are common for an occasional dip in the clear clean water.  Tennis shoes should be worn for wading the gravel bottom and long sleeved shirts should be taken to protect form the sun.  The river averages 2 to 3 feet deep and 150 feet in width.  Dress according to the weather.

Long 5 to 6 hour trips and shorter 2 to 3 hour trips are available.  Shooting the rapids is a thrill you will want to do annually with friends.  Life jackets are required and provided with rafts and paddles.  Your auto remains at the Inn where the trips end.  We provide free transportation to the start of the trips.  Local law is enforced, prohibiting glass bottles and beverage cans in rafts and littering the river.  Trespassing on private property is prohibited.
